Product Details

Equipment Installation & Operation Instructions

  • After opening the outer packaging, first secure the upper arm using 4 M10×25 fixing screws to connect with the interface on the chassis surface.

  • Then connect the pressure reducing valve assembly to the 8×5mm air tube inside the device, and secure the pressure reducing valve assembly with 2 M4×12 screws.

  • Connect an air source (0.5MPa-0.8MPa) to the pressure reducing valve at the rear of the device, then plug in the 220V power supply.

  • The two green buttons on the device: the left one is the upper heating plate start button, the right one is the lower heating plate start button.

  • Press the green button once to start; press it twice in a row to stop.

  • Press the foot pedal down to raise the lower heating plate. Press it down again to lower the lower heating plate.

  • After power-on, the display shows the real-time temperature. After pressing the start button, it heats up to 180°C and automatically stops heating. The display will then show the real-time temperature and the accumulated time after reaching 180°C.


Safety Warnings & Precautions

Before using this equipment, please carefully read and understand all safety regulations. Improper operation may cause serious personal injury or equipment damage.

  • Operator Qualification: Operators must be professionally trained and familiar with the contents of this manual and the operating procedures.

  • Personal Protection: Must wear heat-resistant gloves, protective goggles, and work clothes during operation to prevent burns and flying debris.

  • Electrical Safety: The equipment must have a reliable ground connection. Do not use in damp, flammable, or explosive environments. Before plugging or unplugging the power cord, ensure the power switch is turned off.

  • High-Temperature Warning: During and for a period after the vulcanization process, the molds, heating plates, and tire contact areas are extremely hot. Do not touch directly with hands to prevent burns.

  • Pressure Safety: Do not open the mold while the equipment is pressurizing or maintaining pressure. After the mold is closed, do not place hands or any body part between the molds.

  • Equipment Inspection: Before each use, check the power cord, air tube, pressure gauge, temperature controller, and mold for damage. If any abnormality is found, stop using immediately and report for repair.

  • Equipment Introduction & Main Structure: This machine is a heat vulcanization device specifically designed for repairing wounds on inflatable tires such as trucks and passenger cars. Through heating, pressing, and heat treatment for a specific time, it firmly bonds the uncured rubber to the tire wound area, achieving a permanent repair.


Main Components

  • Machine Frame: Provides structural support and pressure.

  • Pneumatic System: Provides the pressure required for vulcanization, including pressure gauge, cylinder, control valves, etc.

  • Electric Heating System: Provides the heat required for vulcanization, including heating plates, temperature controller, thermocouple.

  • Control System: Includes timer relay, temperature controller, pressure regulating valve, etc., used to set and control vulcanization process parameters.

  • Molds & Accessories: Includes upper and lower heating molds, uncured rubber, heat-vulcanizing cement, etc.


Operation Steps

Tire Preparation:

  • Remove the tire to be repaired from the rim.

  • Mark the wound location. Use a grinder to fully and evenly grind the inside of the wound and its surrounding area (larger than the patch area) to expose a fresh rubber surface. The ground surface should be rough but not burnt.

  • Thoroughly clean the ground area with a cleaning agent (e.g., specialized cleaner or gasoline) and allow it to dry completely. Do not use water for cleaning!

Applying Vulcanizing Cement:

  • Apply a thin, even layer of specialized vulcanizing cement to the clean, dry ground area.

  • Allow the cement to air-dry naturally until it is tack-free to the touch and has a glossy appearance (surface-dry state). Do not use fire or air to accelerate drying!

Equipment Preparation:

  • Connect the power and air supply, then turn on the power switch.



Vulcanization Repair Process

Filling with Uncured Rubber:

  • Cut an appropriate size and shape of uncured rubber strip according to the wound size and shape, and remove the backing film.

  • Fill the uncured rubber into the wound, ensuring it completely covers and slightly rises above the wound edge, then press firmly to remove air.

Mounting & Positioning the Tire:

  • Place the tire into the machine so that the repair point is centered over the lower heating plate.

  • Cover the uncured rubber with a layer of high-temperature resistant release film (e.g., Teflon film) to prevent sticking.

  • Based on the tire's thickness and construction, place a suitable metal backing plate or air bag to ensure even pressure distribution.

Closing Mold & Applying Pressure:

  • Step on the foot pedal to slowly raise the lower mold and press firmly against the tire.

  • Check the pressure valve to ensure the pressure reaches the specified value and remains stable.

Vulcanization Timing:

  • Start timing once the mold is fully closed and the temperature and pressure reach the set values.

  • Set the vulcanization time according to the type of uncured rubber and the tire thickness.

Vulcanization Completion:

  • When the time is up, the timer relay will sound an alert. At this point, first fully release the pressure.

  • Open the mold and carefully remove the tire using tools. Caution: High temperature!

  • Allow the tire to cool naturally to room temperature in the air.



Post-Repair Finishing

  • Inspect the repair point, and use a knife or grinder to trim off excess rubber for a smooth, flat finish.

  • Optionally, apply a layer of tire sealant and rust inhibitor for added protection.

  • Remount the tire onto the rim and inflate to the standard tire pressure.


Note: Vulcanization time is closely related to temperature. The lower the temperature, the longer the time required. Do not arbitrarily increase the temperature to improve efficiency, as this will cause rubber scorching and affect repair quality.



Daily Maintenance & Care

  • After each day's work, turn off the power and air supply, and clean residual rubber and dirt from the mold and heating plate surfaces.

  • Periodically check electrical wiring and connection terminals for looseness or aging.

  • Periodically inspect the pneumatic system, drain accumulated water from the water filter, and ensure the air supply is dry. Regularly add cylinder lubricating oil to the oil mist lubricator.

  • Periodically apply lubricating oil to moving parts of the equipment (e.g., guide pillars).

  • When not in use for a long period, clean the equipment, apply anti-rust oil to the mold and heating plate surfaces, and store in a dry, well-ventilated place.
